Montgomery County 4-H Shooting Sports – Wildcat District

The mission of Montgomery County 4-H Shooting Sports is to teach youth the proper procedure to shoot air rifles, rifles, shotguns and bows using every safety precaution.  We instill a love of these sports and the outdoors so youth can enjoy the sports and outdoors for all their lives. 

Our program is open to youth in traditional 4-H clubs as well as those youth who want to participate in shooting sports only.  

Our coordinators and instructors are state certified after passing an intense training program by the state.  We have shotguns, air rifles and bows available to members so they do not have to purchase their own equipment to participate in our program. 

Our annual fundraiser is a Fun Shoot which is a trap and skeet shoot for a 2 person team.  Proceeds from the Fun Shoot fund our program by purchasing shells, arrows and pellets plus paying range fees and facility rent.  Funds also pay for additional adults to attend certification, so we maintain instructors to continue our program.  

All proceeds donated to support our youth are appreciated.
