Help us move a portion of what has been called the Crown Jewel of Central Texas prairies. After decades of failed attempts to preserve the MoKan Prairie, it is now up to us to move a section to a new home prior to construction. We are working with the landowner to relocate remnant prairie sod to an area protected by a conservation easement. Your donation will go toward our equipment rental costs and other expenses for moving the MoKan Prairie.

The MoKan Prairie was once listed by the Sierra Club as one of the Texas natural treasures most in danger of being lost. Unfortunately, they were correct.
