Meet Mohammed Hashmi, a first-generation Baruch College graduate of Peruvian and Pakistani descent, born and raised in the vibrant streets of the Bronx. As the oldest and only boy among four sisters, he's learned the power of perseverance and the value of family support. Grateful to ALPFA for entrusting him to run the New York Marathon, he sees this opportunity as a testament to his belief that regardless of background, dreams are achievable. With a pledge of $5k to fundraising efforts, he's not just running a race; he's paving the way for others to chase their aspirations.
