Goal
Millions of people trapped in Eastern Ukraine need access to critical health care.
One of the top Ukrainian surgeons Sergey (last name withheld for security reasons) with personal connections to Minnesota is being sent to near the front lines and needs movable operating room to save people. Please help us acquire, equip and deliver a suitable vehicle to him as soon as possible.
Prior to the war Sergey worked as a surgeon and chief physician at one of the clinics in Ukraine and has over 20 years of medical experience. He will be working near the front lines triaging the wounded civilians and soldiers, and desperately needs critical equipment to save lives.
The primary need is a medical ambulance that can access distressed areas. We have found a used vehicle (1991) that would fit the need. The total cost is estimated to be around USD 47,000. Private donors already pledged $27,250.00. Please consider supporting this campaign with your contributions and share this campaign with your friends and family.
Donations are processed through the Ukrainian American Community Center (UACC), the fiscal sponsor of StandWithUkraineMN. The UACC is a Minneapolis based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works with vetted organizations experienced in getting aid to where it is needed.
