👋🏾😁 Hey my fellow peeps, friends, family, and generous souls—if you’re reading this, it’s not by accident. You were meant to land here today.
I’ve been given the opportunity to join Health Assistance and Network Development–Philippines (HAND-PH) on a medical mission trip—my first mission trip ever. Honestly, this is something I’ve always dreamed of doing: using my medical skills to give back in a real, tangible way. When I found out about this opportunity, I knew instantly—this is it. This is exactly where I’m supposed to be.
Picture this:
These aren’t dramatic movie scripts—this is reality for many in underserved communities. Conditions that are treatable are leading to deaths and disabilities, forcing families deeper into poverty.
In Bohol, Philippines, the median yearly family income is just $1,770. Surgeries most of us take for granted cost over $1,000—almost an entire year’s income. For many families, the choice isn’t even on the table.
In April 2026, our team of volunteer doctors and nurses will provide free major elective and cataract surgeries for patients who otherwise would have no access to care.
Here’s the amazing part: through partnerships, we’ve cut the cost down to about $250 per surgery. That means every $250 raised = one life forever changed.
Our goal is 275 surgeries in this mission. That’s 275 families given hope, stability, and a second chance.
But to make it happen, we still need to cover hospital fees, medications, and supplies—and that’s where your help comes in
Volunteer surgeons perform a major elective surgery during our medical mission at Don Emilio Del Valle Hospital, Bohol, Philippines, February 2025.
Let’s be real: your donation won’t just sit in a fund—it will literally keep a parent alive, restore a person’s sight, and allow a breadwinner to keep providing for their family.
And before you think, “Well, I can’t do much”:
This mission is special to me because it’s my first mission trip—something I’ve prayed about and wanted to do for a long time. I’ve always known I wanted to give back, not just in words but through action, using the medical skills I’ve been blessed with.
This trip is the beginning of me stepping fully into that calling. And when you support, you’re not just sending me—you’re standing with families who will remember your generosity forever.
Click that donate button. Don’t overthink it—whether it’s coffee money, lunch money, or “I was about to impulse-buy something random on Amazon” money, it all makes a difference.
👉 Save lives. Prevent disabilities. Break the cycle of poverty. Donate today and give families in the Philippines hope for a brighter tomorrow.
From the bottom of my Krazy 🤎, thank you for reading, sharing, and giving. Together, we’re going to change lives. ✨🤘🏾🤪
