2) Beneficiary Designations

A simple and meaningful way to support our cause is to list Mission Flight as a beneficiary of your will, trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy.

Mission Flight's Federal Tax ID number is EIN 81-4446312.

Sample bequest language for an unrestricted will or trust gift:

"I give and bequeath to Mission Flight, tax ID # 81-4446312 [the sum of $ or %, or description of property] to be used for its general tax-exempt purposes, without other restriction as to use."

Simple!  Contact us with your questions at admin@missionflight.org.

3)  Strategic Gifts That Pay You Income

Mission Flight accepts gifts through charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities.

These planned giving vehicles are relatively common and can provide you with tax benefits, current income for you or your family, and significant estate planning advantages.  At your request we will prepare an illustration of your potential tax benefits and income.

4)  IRA Charitable Distribution

If you are 70 ½ or older, you may give up to $100,000 a year directly from your IRA to qualified charities without paying income taxes on the Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).

You can begin using QCDs at 70 ½, but it will not count toward your required minimum distribution until age 72.  Contact us for more details about this great tax strategy.

5)  ADDITINAL WAYS TO MAKE A PLANNED GIFT TO MISSION FLIGHT
