Last summer, the 318 Foundation proudly launched its inaugural Champions Academy in 2024. This transformative initiative, made possible by the support of our donors, featured a one-week, no-cost Training Camp and Coaches Clinic at Grambling State University, our esteemed sports partner. We provided 40 girls and four local coaches with elite training, vital resources, and personalized mentorship, equipping them with the tools to excel on and off the court.

Founded by WNBA champion Alana Beard, the 318 Foundation is committed to empowering girls and marginalized communities through education, sports, and leadership development. Our core programs – 318 VISION and 318 SPORTS – nurture creativity, leadership, and athletic excellence, closing the opportunity gap for young girls in underserved communities.
