Mighty Writers El Futuro Kennett was founded in 2019 to support children of Spanish-speaking migrant farmworkers in Southern Chester County. 

More than 30% of bilingual students start kindergarten without any English proficiency, putting them at a profound disadvantage from the start. 

From the time these children are toddlers till the anxious days before college applications are due, Mighty Writers is with them — boosting literacy, academic skills and self-esteem.

In addition, our Kennett client-choice food pantry helps hundreds of families each week by providing free culturally relevant food, including fresh produce, along with household necessities like diapers, wipes and period products. 

And as always, we give out free books. As many as the kids will take!
