Michelle Menzor

Michelle, a Special Education teacher from Colorado, has a passion for education and helping those in need. Her connection with Guatemala began in 2014, when she completed her student teaching at the Christian Academy of Guatemala. That foundational experience sparked a desire to return one day and to use her gifts and skills to help the people.

Last year, Michelle took a leave of absence from her teaching role and spent nine months in Guatemala, teaching English to both children and adults. In February 2025, she resigned from her position in the U.S. to continue serving full-time in Guatemala.

Michelle is passionate about sustainability and seeks to uplift and empower the Guatemalan people through education. Her drive is rooted in her faith and compassion for the Guatemalan people.

In August 2025, Michelle will begin working with Life Guatemala, teaching English classes at the Life Center in Pachimulin.
