Keep the Lights On for Casa Hogar Monte Halac

We all love Mexico City’s vibes. Now, here’s a chance to give back.

Casa Hogar Monte Halac is a local orphanage that runs entirely on donations. Back in November 2024, it was on the verge of closing, and 36 kids were at risk of losing their only home. We launched this campaign to help, and thanks to this amazing community, their daily needs are now being met.

But they still need more help. Some donors have had to step back, and unexpected emergencies continue to come up.

While we welcome one-time donations, we invite you to become Sponsor for sustainable support to keep their operations on year-round. A Sponsor involves a monthly recurring donation and hopefully at least a year commitment. 

Even the cost of a taco night makes a big difference. If you can commit to a small monthly gift, you’ll help keep the lights on, food on the table, and hope alive. Monthly Sponsorship plans include:

• Cover all school items like books and uniforms of 1 child.
• $250 MXN (~ $12.50 USD) / month

• Cover all food costs for 1 child.
• $500 MXN (~ $25USD) / month

• Cover all day to day expenses including food, healthcare, and education for 1 child.
• $1,000 MXN (~ $50 USD) / month

• Fully cover day to day expenses for 1 child and contribute to the shelter’s maintenance and emergency fund.
• $1,500 MXN (~ $75 USD) / month
