Mykyta's parents were very much looking forward to the birth of their first child. During pregnancy, the mother and baby felt great. Everything went smoothly and without problems until the day when Mykyta was born. As a result of birth asphyxia and neonatal spinal cord injury, Mykyta was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, strabismus, liquorodynamic disorders syndrome, and epilepsy.
Now Mykyta is 8 years old and still fighting. His loving family continues doing their best to improve their boy's quality of life. Regular therapy is vital for Mykyta to develop basic skills, improve his health and increase social adaptation. If previously such rehabilitation courses were very expensive for Mykyta's family and required careful saving of funds, spending of all available savings, and support of the family and relatives, then in today's realities in Ukraine, this amount is absolutely unaffordable for them.
But stopping now for Mykyta means the inevitable loss of hard-won skills and a significant decline in physical and psychological development.
Can you help Mykyta continue his vital therapy?
