Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life. 

Carlito is a 7-year-old boy from the Philippines. He lives with his parents and older brother. His father works as a tricycle driver and his income is variable due to the parents. To help support her family his mother cleans her neighbor's toilets and collects their garbage. Carlito has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He receives his nutrition from a nasogastric tube. He also has a club foot. His family is struggling to provide him with essentials such as medicines and formula.
