MFBEC General Fund

At Maine Food and Beverage Education Center, we work to build bridges between consumers and Maine food and beverage producers through educational experiences. Why? Because we believe that sharing the stories behind Maine's most iconic and important industries (and the amazing producers working within those industries) is a direct path to economic impact - both for food and beverage producers and for the state as a whole. Our goal is to create brand awareness for Maine food and drink products - amongst both Maine residents and tourists - and inspire brand loyalty. 

Contributions to our General Fund give us the most flexibility to direct dollars where they are needed most - compensating class instructors fairly for their time and expertise, improving our physical campus in Wiscasset to better support our stakeholders and our efforts, ongoing operational costs, supporting and contributing to other organizations' efforts to lift up Maine food and beverage producers, and much more.
