More than 120 children who participate in activities with AVSI's long-term partner, Crecemos, were left homeless, scared, hungry and cold after the September 7th earthquake that hit the Chiapas/Oaxaca region. The educational center which Crecemos uses for educational, nutrition and sports activities was completely destroyed.

Immediate needs are basic and dire: shelter, food, water, and comfort. The region has been largely overlooked by local government and donors are no where to be found.

Any and all help is urgently needed!
