Contribution Rules By donating, you certify that: • You are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. • You are contributing using your own funds, and not those of another person. • You are not making this contribution as a business, corporation, LLC, union, or nonprofit (unless state law permits and you are authorized). • You are at least 18 years of age. • You are not a foreign national, federal contractor, or prohibited donor. 2. Contribution Limits California law places contribution limits on statewide candidates. Individual, PAC, and committee limits will apply based on the current election cycle regulations set by the California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC). Contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations for federal or state income tax purposes. 3. Refund & Compliance Policy All donations are final. If a contribution violates state law, the campaign may be legally required to refund or reclassify the donation. 4. Reporting Requirements State law requires campaigns to report the name, address, occupation, and employer of donors whose total contributions reach $100 or more. 5. Use of Funds Funds donated to Messiah DuPont for Lieutenant Governor will be used exclusively for campaign purposes, including outreach, advertising, compliance, travel, staffing, filing fees, and statewide campaign operations. 6. Privacy Notice Your information will be used solely for campaign reporting and communication. It will not be sold or shared outside compliance requirements mandated by state law.
