Goal

Hi, I'm Rodney from Bumpsale, and for my 50th birthday this year, my goal is to raise $50,000 to fund free therapy for BIPOC folx through the Mental Health Liberation non-profit.

Like many of us in 2020, I needed mental health support. Trying to find a therapist through our medical provider or through the mental health apps was fruitless. No appointments, booked several months out, or most common: none of the therapists were Black during a time when I was experiencing cptsd from racial trauma.

One day, while doing my daily doomscroll duties, I came across a post from Inclusive Therapists on Instagram. They advertised a whole directory of culturally competent, *inclusive* therapists of color and I was able to find a Black woman therapist in no time.

I honestly don't know where I'd be if I wasn't able to get the therapy t needed to help me unpack years of trauma (I still have a couple carryon bags left, but what do we call that? Growth! 😂✨) So when I learned that Inclusive Therapists also has a non-profit supporting mental health, it seemed like the perfect way to give back.

Therapy should be free and freely accessible and with your help we can get there.
