Even as a Hispanic female with a "successful career" I came to realize the traumas my parents had and subsequently passed on to me at a later point of my life. We need to understand firstly what our parents went through and only once you reach adulthood or the bottom do you come to realize your parents tried all they could and now you can for yourself, too. Therapy helped me fix my relationship with my parents silently and openly. Thank you, Christina!
