🦋 We have decided to partake in this fundraiser to give back to Precious Wings, an organisation that supports families facing the unimaginable loss of a child. During our time with our precious Kinley Storm, their kindness, care, and compassion brought comfort during the darkest of times, and we hope to help them continue supporting others who need it most. We still have the gorgeous teddies included in each Memory Box - our Kinley bears. 🧸

✨ As a little thank you, for every $5 you donate to us, you will go into the draw to win one of many prizes, generously donated by family and local businesses. This is not an official raffle, more of a way we can give back to our caring friends, family and community for supporting this worthy and invaluable cause. 💖

Memory Box May is a month‑long, heartfelt fundraiser where people choose a meaningful activity to honour a baby, child or young person they hold close - while helping ensure other families receive steady, compassionate support in moments that will never come again.

Throughout May, our community walks beside grieving families by keeping purpose‑designed memory‑making resources available across Queensland. Through trusted services, families receive Memory Boxes and Miscarriage Memory Bags that offer gentle ways to create memories, honour identity and stay connected - at their own pace, in their own way. 

Precious Wings also stands alongside the health professionals who support families during these intense, high‑pressure moments. Through bereavement education and shared language, we help staff feel more confident offering safe, consistent memory‑making options - so thoughtful care doesn’t depend on who happens to be on shift.

Together, our goal is $20,000.

Reaching it will fund one full month of Precious Wings services, including: 

* 100 Memory Boxes for families facing the death of their baby or child

* 50 Miscarriage Memory Bags for families experiencing early pregnancy loss

* 24 sibling packs offering gentle, age‑appropriate support after the loss of a much‑loved sibling or parent

* 8 Legacy Boxes for adolescents and adults living with a life‑limiting diagnosis

* 2 education sessions for health professionals, giving teams shared language and practical tools for safe, confident memory‑making support

* 1 support group for 16 people, led by trained peer supporters and qualified bereavement facilitators
