Thank you for including Friends of Korea in your giving plans.  We originally started as a group of returned Peace Corps Korea volunteers interested in sharing our passion for Korea, a country we came to love and admire during our term of service many years ago.  Peace Corps sent volunteers to Korea from 1966 through 1981.

As Korea's place in the world has changed from being a recipient country to being a donor country, so too has our organization expanded our focus beyond the community of former volunteers. There are so many people interested in Korea, its rich culture and history, as well as its remarkable economic development over the past 60+ years. If you are interested in learning more about Korea, or in meeting people who share your interest in Korea, we are the organization for you!

We are a volunteer-driven organization with an active and engaged board of directors.  Your support will enable us to support our three strategic areas of activity - education, philanthropy and networking.
