Creating the Worlds We Never Had

Our studio is a professional creative entertainment studio building original games within the commercial games industry. Unlike programs focused on workshops or introductions to game development, we are actively developing, prototyping, and preparing to ship real games. Our focus is not only on exposure or skill-building, but on authorship, production leadership, and long-term creative careers showing Black women and girls what it looks like to own the full process, from concept and engine decisions to design direction and release. Currently 12% or 10.5 million gamers are Black women and 5% of Black Americans have jobs in the games industry.

Many Black American stories have been flattened, erased, or told without cultural context. In games and animation, these narratives are often borrowed but rarely built by those who carry the history, memory, and lived experience behind them.

This studio was founded to change that.

We are building a culturally grounded game studio that centers Black American history, imagination, and futures emerging from America. Our work is personal. It is shaped by cultural memory, lived experience, and a deep responsibility to tell our own stories with care, accuracy, and creative freedom.

Supporting this studio means investing in more than a single game. It means helping build long-term creative infrastructure tools, talent, and opportunities that allow Black American creators to shape interactive worlds from concept to completion.
