Goal

Give Them the Chance No One Else Would: Support Arrow’s Heart Medical Fund

All rescues save animals, Arrow’s Heart saves the ones no one else will.

It all began with Arrow, a dog no one wanted. She was labeled “behavioral,” “too difficult,” “too much work.” Multiple rescues turned her away. But Randi saw something else: a best friend worth fighting for.

Arrow became the heartbeat behind Arrow’s Heart Animal Rescue. And today, more than a decade later, that same spirit guides every animal they take in: the vulnerable, the overlooked, and the ones who won’t survive unless someone steps forward.

The Reality No One Sees

Arrow’s Heart takes the animals most rescues in Minnesota say “no” to. Not because they don’t want to help, but because these animals come with medical costs that adoption fees could never cover.

And yet each one deserves a chance.

Here’s what your donation makes possible:

Ebony, a beautiful girl, came from Alabama as “heartworm negative.” But the second test told the truth—she was already in heart failure. Treatment meant two months of antibiotics, followed by two months of injections.

Total cost: $1,200

Today? She’s with a young couple who dress her up, show her off, and give her all the love she never knew she could have.

Dental Work That Stops the Pain

Cricket, a tiny 4-year-old chihuahua, came in with a massive abscess on her face. Her teeth were so infected she could barely eat. A $900 full-mouth extraction saved her life, and today she’s thriving in a home with three children who adore her.

Life-Saving Surgeries

Last Summer, Maccauley, a gentle dog from a local impound, waited an entire week with a shattered front leg. By law, the facility couldn’t amputate. Arrow’s Heart stepped in and a $2,000 surgery freed him from agony, and gave him back a future.

Treating Severe Skin Conditions

Picaccio and Haddy, two dogs from an Arkansas high-kill shelter, arrived nearly bald and in constant pain from demodex mange. Treatment takes months—$100 per month for medication, plus food during recovery. Haddy required six months. But they healed. They played, they blossomed, all because someone like you cared.

Your donation to the Medical Fund gives animals a second chance at life when every other door has closed.

Will You Be the Reason They Get Their Second Chance Next Year?

These animals don’t need perfection, they need compassion. They need someone like you, who believes they’re worth saving.

Give to Arrow’s Heart Medical Fund today to help us make sure all the Arrows out there find their best friend too.
