Prepare & Prevent: Media Literacy & Digital Wellness Education
Teachers and parents are frustrated and worried. They are witnessing firsthand the historically high rates of anxiety and depression in students every day, and they want to help.
Media literacy in K-12 education is an essential part of the solution. We are advocating and proposign policy changes to ensure teachers have the support to provide Digital Wellness education and Health media literacy – so students can understand and manage the emotional and mental health impacts of their screen time and determine the credibility of online health news and information.
Your support will help:
Build alliances between health leaders and educators to promote and expand media literacy education to health class
Increase educator access to resources
Make a difference to one child struggling to live in a media saturated world.
