After years of diligently organizing in his community, Brandon Chase McGee boldly answered the call to step up and fight for the Denton working class. Brandon believes deeply that his seat on Denton City Council is for the hardworking people of Denton, not political parties or major corporations.

A lifelong leader, Brandon has never shied away from standing up for his community. Since his historic election win in May of 2022, he has served proudly on Denton City Council in the at-large Place 5 seat. Before this, he served on the city's Zoning Board of Adjustment. He is also a graduate of the Congressional Black Caucus Institute and the New Leaders Council. He currently works full-time in the transportation industry.
