In both Ukraine and the Philippines, my friend Maya and her org have done serious work improving the lives of children with special needs and challenges. They provide critical medical, nutritional and therapeutic care for children often beyond the reach of other support services, as well as basic needs and education support for kids in extremely tough circumstances.
