Maya's Hope: Meds, Formula, etc for girl with Dravet Syndrome
Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.
Rain is a 3-year-old girl who lives in the Philippines. She has been diagnosed with Dravet syndrome (Dravet syndrome is a rare, drug-resistant epilepsy that begins in the first year of life in an otherwise healthy infant. It is lifelong). Her father works as a merchandiser. They don't have anyone to watch their daughter so her mother does cleaning and laundry when her husband has days off to earn extra money for their family.
Despite all their hard work, Rain's medicines are very expensive and they have to borrow money to meet her needs.
Can you help us support this family? We will purchase medicines, formula, diapers and feeding tubes for Rain with your help.
