Gordiy is a 6-year-old boy in Ukraine who has been diagnosed with a congenital brain defect, asymmetry of the cerebral hemispheres, an enlarged left occipital lobe, as well as delayed speech and mental development. As a result, Gordiy is completely dependent on the care of his parents, who must provide constant rehabilitation, medical treatment, and regular EEGs every six months.
The financial situation of Gordiy's family has worsened due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, and they are struggling to make ends meet. Gordiy's father is the sole breadwinner, and he is doing his best to provide for the family, but the cost of Gordiy's treatment is a heavy burden on them. The family is in dire need of our support to ensure that Gordiy can continue to receive the care and treatment he needs to thrive.
Thanks to your generous contributions, we were able to provide Gordiy with diapers, wipes, and an EEG, which are essential for his daily care and health.
However, we still need to raise additional funds to cover the cost of Gordiy's rehabilitation therapy, which is crucial for his physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Rehabilitation therapy will help Gordiy to develop the strength, coordination, and skills he needs to sit, stand, and move independently. It will also improve his speech, language, and cognitive abilities, which will have a significant impact on his overall quality of life.
Can you please help Gordiy receive rehabilitation therapy?
Every dollar counts, and your support can make a significant difference in the life of this boy and his family.
