Egor, shortly after birth Egor was born prematurely. Immediately upon birth, he had severe jaundice, which brought him to NICU. Doctors managed to stabilize the boy's condition, and he was finally discharged from the hospital. But at home, his parents realized that their son was developing much slower than he should. Tests and consultations with doctors made it clear that Egor has a damaged nervous system and cerebral palsy.
Look at this cheerful fellow! The boy began to undergo treatment under the supervision of specialists. Among the first results were raising and holding his head, pulling up his arms, bending his legs, and pronouncing sounds and even simple words. He can now use his hands that used to be clenched into fists to pick up various objects. Egor is also trying to crawl and is learning to drink from a cup.

This is incredible progress! Unfortunately, there are not enough funds for an expensive therapy course anymore. But stopping right now would mean that all the achieved progress will be lost. Without therapy at a specialized clinic, Egor's further development is not possible. This family needs your support!
Can you please help us fund Egor's rehabilitation therapy?
Maya's Hope work in Ukraine has not stopped for a moment since the beginning of the war. We have already supported over 7000 families who requested financial and humanitarian assistance and continue to carry on our important mission of serving children in need.
After almost 6 months of the war, the nature of requests for help has changed. Most of them are still based on the loss of regular full-time earnings and the inability to find a new source of income. But the priorities of children's needs have changed, and developmental therapy and rehabilitation courses have become the foreground again.
Maya’s Hope helps disadvantaged children living in poverty and helps provide hope by instilling value and purpose in each child. www.mayashope.org
