Maya's Hope: MRI for a two year old with epilepsy

Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.

"I want to seek your help for my 2-year-old daughter named Keilah. She was diagnosed with focal epilepsy and speech delay when she was 6 months old. She already undergoes cranial ultrasound and EEG, but the results were normal. The pedia neurologists want her to have MRI, plain and contrast, to determine what causes her seizures since she still has seizures even she's already taking two medicines as maintenance. Almost every month she has seizure attacks and was rushed to the hospital and considered status epilepticus or sometimes seizure breakthrough. When she was still a few months old, she already experienced to have a cutdown since the doctors can't find any vein for her IV, she also had been intubated because of her almost 2 hours non-stop seizures.I am only a housewife and my live-in partner works as a salesman of a cellphone brand here in the Philippines. His salary for a month ranges from 7000 to 8000 ($345-394 USD) only and is not enough to support all our daughter's needs. We even ask for a loan and borrowed money from his colleagues so that we can buy her maintenance medicines.

I saw that you are helping warriors who need procedures, and I am hoping that you can help us to have funds for the MRI procedure of my beloved daughter to know the cause of her seizures. We don't have the capacity or money to pay for it. Your foundation will be a great help and blessing for my daughter."Can you help us raise the funds needed for Keilah's health check-up and MRI?
