Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.
John is a 15-year-old boy who lives with his mother in the Philippines. John has cerebral palsy and severe dermatitis. To earn money, his mother makes and sells food at the market. There is no one else to take care of John, so he comes with her. Despite all her hard work, her small income is not enough to purchase formula for John and he is malnourished. She has also been unable to afford the creams prescribed by a dermatologist for his severe dermatitis. Maya's Hope has provided him with essentials for the last several months and his mother reports he is gaining weight! We are raising funds to purchase formula, oatmeal, diapers, wipes, and vitamins for John. Can you help us continue to help this amazing family?
