Maya's Hope: Emergency Medical care/ICU stay for 14-month-old with hydrocephalus

Update: As of July 16th, Maria Princess is still in the ICU.  We need to adjust our fundraiser as the costs for her stay have increased.  Thank you for your continued support in making sure she receives top care.

Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.

Maria Princess is 14 months old. She was born with hydrocephalus. In January this year, Maya’s Hope funded shunt surgery for her which was successful.

A few days ago we received a distressed message from her mother. Maria Princess had been admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and was struggling to breath.

"Good day Mam Maya. I'm begging you to help us again for the emergency admission of my daughter. She's currently admitted in the hospital. We transferred her here because the level of her oxygen in not normal anymore and we need to transfer her to the ICU immediately. Please ma'am Maya and to all supporters of Maya's Hope I really need your help. I want to extend the life of my daughter. Thank you mam again and god bless."

Can you help us cover the cost of her medical care and ICU stay? Her family cannot afford the high costs of her emergency treatment.
