Joolin Josh is a 10-year-old boy who has Cerebral Palsy. His father is a farmer, and his mother stays at home to take care of Joolin as he can not walk, sit, or eat on his own. His father’s income is not very stable and would depend on the quality of the harvest. They do not own the land that he works on, thus he only receives 10% of the total harvest which is around $100 per month if the harvest is good. Additionally, it is not every month that they can have harvest, during the months of January February, March, April, October, and December, there is no harvest. No harvest means no money. On months that they do not have income, they will loan money from their neighbors and pay it back when there is harvest.
They are seeking help from Maya’s hope so that they can provide healthier food options for Joolin as well as provide him with his medications and daily necessities. Furthermore, the Nipa hut house they currently live in needs repair, but they cannot afford to have it fixed, let alone their family’s daily needs. Can you help us raise the funds for the purchase of fortified milk, medicines, vitamins, diapers and more for Joolin?
