PURPOSE
This fundraiser supports Just Move Charitable Health Trust, a kaupapa-driven organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Māori and Pasifika communities through culturally grounded, accessible fitness and lifestyle initiatives. By uplifting a trust that champions hauora in our own communities, this event also creates space for Māori and Pasifika students at Lincoln University to connect and build whanaungatanga during Marama Hauora.
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Participants will be partaking in a series of different fitness challenges, including group fitness classes at the Lincoln University gym, local pools, volleyball and run-clubs. Whilst individually monitoring their amount of steps and gym visits throughout the month of May. We will be encouraging each other as a collective while promoting healthy, balanced lifestyle for our students.
