Matthew Thomas for OUSD School Board 2024

My name is Matthew Thomas.  I have lived in Orange Unified my entire life, attended OUSD Schools and began my career in OUSD as a bus driver.  I am now the Director of Transportation in another local district, having worked my way through the ranks with decades of service to public school districts and the students they serve.  I feel I would bring a unique and needed perspective to the board.  I have experience overseeing a multi-million dollar budget and have seen first-hand the need for strong fiscal decisions, all while remaining focused on the number one priority: student safety and well-being.  

I want to drive change in OUSD.
