Giving Season 2025

As you may know, December 2nd is Giving Tuesday, and I would love to take this opportunity to introduce you to an organization that holds a special place in my heart – MATHCOUNTS.

When I was a student, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in MATHCOUNTS. The experience significantly boosted my confidence in math, ultimately preparing me for my engineering degree. As an engineering graduate and a professional engineer, I have continued to give back by volunteering for years at both the chapter and state levels through my involvement with the National Society of Professional Engineers.  I’m currently the Chair of the National MATHCOUNTS Foundation Board of Directors.  

This Giving Tuesday, MATHCOUNTS is focusing on a campaign to provide financial assistance to students at low-income schools. This support will enable them to participate in MATHCOUNTS, helping these students to grow their skills, knowledge, and confidence in higher-level math. With the increasing demand for STEM professionals, I know you understand the importance and value of this effort.
