MATES in Construction is a charity established in 2008 by the construction industry to reduce the high level of suicide among Australian construction workers.

The MATES Program now operates in the construction, mining, energy and manufacturing industries and provides mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs across Australia, and support to workers and their families.

MATES is here to support the construction, mining and energy industries. However, we can only do this with your support. 

• Each day nine Australians die by suicide. 
• Men working in blue-collar occupations are of the highest risk of suicide.
• MATES are Stronger Together – we can make a difference.
