MATES in Construction SA Ltd

MATES in Construction is a charity established in 2008 by the construction industry to reduce the high level of suicide among Australian construction workers.

The MATES Program now operates in the construction, mining and energy industries and provides mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs across South Australia.

MATES is here to support the construction, mining and energy industries. 

However, we can only do this with your support. 

Around 9 people die by suicide everyday in Australia, which is 3 times the national road toll.

Around 200 construction workers die by suicide in Australia each year.

This is why we need to work together to change this statistic – every suicide is one suicide too many.
