MASKS TO PROTECT FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEERS AND THOSE THEY SERVE
The Forster Foundation will continue our missions in Israel, but today we have a local and urgent crisis closer to home, to which we NEED your help.
We’ve offered to provide tens of thousands of face masks, as I am wearing here, to the Palm Beach County Food Bank who in turn will provide them to the 90 agencies they service.
These agencies feed over 178,000 people a month. The population these agencies service are the most vulnerable and under-served communities in Palm Beach county.
Our masks, which are imported directly from certified and approved mask manufacturers, will provide and help protect the thousands who cook, pack, distribute and serve food to these people.
The Foundation has already funded and arranged shipment for the first 30,000 masks, which will hopefully arrive at the food bank by next week. We have already ordered an additional 70,000 masks.
THE NEED IS FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND MASKS AND OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE THEM AVAILABLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Donate today and help us provide as many masks as possible for those volunteers who are putting their lives at risk to serve unconditionally every day.
