The Marla Sue Golden Philanthropic Foundation
Marla Sue Golden passed away on October 25th, 2023 at the young age of 63 following a courageous fight with cancer. A beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, Marla took care of everyone around her and was adored by all who knew her.
Marla will forever be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and compassion. Her traits will live on through the establishment of this foundation and our ongoing efforts to positively impact the lives of others.
Established to commemorate Marla’s beautiful legacy, the Marla Sue Golden Philanthropic Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the frontiers of healthcare innovation and cancer research initiatives.
To honor Marla’s memory, we will be undertaking an initial fundraising initiative in support of the Mount Sinai Health System.
Proceeds will support ongoing cancer diagnosis, research, and treatment across:
- Cancer care: diagnostics, services, treatment, testing
- Institutions: research, innovation, labs, school of medicine, hospitals
- Interdisciplinary teams: oncologists, surgeons, nurses, technicians
Please join us in honoring Marla’s legacy through supporting the Marla Sue Golden Philanthropic Foundation.
