Market Box Chicago

From its inception, we started donating to Market Box and quickly became volunteers helping to deliver and pack boxes. Market Box is a fantastic community of people that come together to fill a real need for many Southside families that lack access to healthy food; it supports our local farmers by purchasing from local farmers (through a partnership with Local Foods), and it is a model for a social service system that is based in community, respect, and collaboration. 

Market Box is making the tricky leap from a community project to an established service provider. This is a tough time of increasing expenses, extra tasks, and uncertain finances as they work to secure grants and build stability. Help us create financial security for 2023 by contributing to their $100,000 fundraising campaign.
