March 2026 Giving

Amari is our sunshine! To know her, is to love her. She exudes, love, pure joy, and light to all those who meet her. Truly, a blessing we never even knew we needed.

When I was pregnant with Amari, we found out she would be born EXTRA special. While she was, and is, an absolute gift, we felt unequipped and sacred for the unknown future. After she was born, having her in our arms melted some of that away. Reality was, our life was going to be different now; where did we start? That's when Rising Kites stepped in!

I received a rising kites bag in the early days after Amari's birth, it was such a blessing to our family. Rising kites provided us with a joyful congratulations celebrating our precious child; a response not often given to parents receiving  a diagnosis of Down Syndrome. They provided us with resources that helped us navigate the complexities of a Down Syndrome Diagnosis, and provided us with the support of a WONDERFUL community. This gave us confidence, and hope, during a scary and uncertain time in our life. It has been one of the biggest blessings for us! The gift that keeps on giving.
