MAP Charity Fundraising
Can you support young people at MAP Charity?
MAP Charity stands for Music and Arts Production and we exist to support young people aged 11-16, who are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream education. We offer vital, empowering music and arts qualifications, and provide our students with an inspiring place to learn. Here, they have a safe and permanent space where creativity can flourish.
Alongside our work with young people, we support a community of local creative partners: from graphic designers to musicians, we offer space and support and in return our partners provide students with enhanced learning, valuable work experience and professional development opportunities. All of this is delivered at Hope Foundry, nurturing the next generation of creative professionals.
We are at a pivotal moment of growth in the charity’s 14 year history - and we need your help to succeed. In 2019, we purchased the building we call home, appropriately named Hope Foundry, and we have ambitious plans to refurbish our site to accommodate for an increase in demand for MAP Charity’s services over the next 5 years. Our plans will help us to support more young people on our education programme, it will help the charity establish professional development opportunities such as apprenticeships, and will open up our site to be used by the local community in the Mabgate area of Leeds.
Thank you for supporting us today.

Dear MAP I recently relaunched my business and had a virtual party to celebrate. I raised £125 from attendees which I have matched with my business income. Art saved my life when I was a kid. I believe the work you are doing will save many more. In love and solidarity, Eleanor

Mr Swift (music and form teacher at Kingswood House) recommended this charity. Part of the parents' donation has gone towards a small gift for him and the rest to this worthwhile cause.
