Mandala Trust - Annual Appeal 2025: HeART of Gaza

‘HeART of Gaza’ is an art project working with young Palestinians in Gaza, giving a platform to the most voiceless, the most vulnerable, and the most impacted in this genocide. Through the art they produce, the children ask us to bear witness to their terror, weariness, and loss, but also to their resilience and determination as they cling on to childhood, celebrating friendship, family, hobbies and even pets.

In order to further support these children, particularly the many who are now suffering the effects of extreme trauma, Mandala Trust are currently funding a pilot project providing psychological support to these children by trained Palestinian psychologists on the ground.

Mandala Trust is an Irish-based organisation dedicated to supporting children and young people in vulnerable situations around the world.  This is accomplished through the development of an ever-expanding network of volunteers, supporters, and community-based organisations who work together in friendship and solidarity. Through targeting dedicated organisations and individuals working for their communities at a grassroots level, and supporting them through small grants, capacity building, and developing sustainability, we are therefore able to achieve real and lasting benefits for those children and young people we aim to serve.

Importantly, we take a mutual aid approach – with none of us receiving payment for this work.  And this means that, unlike most larger organisations you might donate to, Mandala Trust is able to ensure that all money you donate will directly benefit those on the ground most in need.
