Mu Zeta’s Legacy Starts Here

Who we are: Since 1976, the Mu Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. at UNC Chapel Hill has developed dynamic student leaders who have shaped the university and enriched the Chapel Hill community. MZ Alumni Foundation is the unified vehicle through which every gift is directed, invested, and multiplied.

To build on our legacy, this is our first campaign — a $350,000 commitment across two initiatives:

$100,000 — Name the Veranda at the Stone Center

MZ Alumni Foundation has the opportunity to permanently name The Veranda at the Stone Center, one of its most prominent and beloved spaces. Every student, faculty member, and visitor who walks through the Stone Center will see Mu Zeta's name. Permanently. 

$250,000 — Establish a Permanent Endowment

A permanent endowment ensures our undergraduate chapter never has to operate in a position of need again. Future generations of Mu Zeta brothers will have the resources they need to thrive.

Our campaign target is $350,000 over 5 years.

Personal ask: If every active alumnus participates, the ask is $250 per year over 5 years or $1,250 total. There is no minimum to participate. For those in a position to give more, gifts at the Great Scott ($5,000), Sensational Sponsor ($10,000), and Jewel ($20,000) levels help us reach our goal faster while expanding what we can accomplish together.
