I fell into addiction while pregnant with my fifth baby, Maddie. It was one of the hardest and most painful chapters of my life. What I needed most in that time wasn’t more judgment—I needed support, compassion, and hope. Mothers like me already carry so much shame. We don’t need to be shamed further—we need to be seen as human, as hurting, and as capable of healing. That’s why organizations like this one are so important. They offer care without condemnation, and hope without conditions. They help not just babies like Maddie, but moms like me find our way back—stronger, more supported, and never alone.

As a recovering addict of 14 years, I saw so many friends who could have benefited from your beautiful program. Praying all money is raised and then some!!

You guys are doing beautiful work. I feel so drawn to your organization and I can’t even explain why. All I know is, as a mother, I know there is nothing more helpful than having others show you compassion and grace, when life gets tough. Thank you for giving these women the chance to do right by their babies and themselves. There is no better place for a child than to be with their mother… You are keeping these children and women away from the traumas of our country’s, broken systems.

I randomly came across your account on Instagram and immediately fell in love with the work you do. I have a 14mo old and while we do not have the substance issues these babies have, being a mom is hard! I can’t even imagine how hard it is to deal with a whole other layer of struggle as a mom. I don’t know if there is a program like this in my area, but I do know you are doing God’s work and this is something I am happy to support.

I can’t imagine how many babies need this kind of help, but I am glad there is an organization like Maddie’s Place to help these sweet babies! As a new mom, I would do anything to help my baby boy! Thank you to all these ladies that go above and beyond for these babies 💕
