Maddie's Place

Maddie's Place provides medical care in a nurturing environment for substance-exposed infants, together with loving, wraparound support for their caregivers.

Maddie’s Place is a free-standing recovery nursery for babies experiencing withdrawal due to prenatal substance exposure. We provide high quality, holistic, multi-disciplinary medical and non-medical care for infants with prenatal substance exposure (also known as Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome) and wraparound support for their parents/caregivers.

Our comprehensive model of care brings babies safely through their withdrawal, facilitates early bonding whenever possible, offers hope and support to parents struggling with substance abuse, strengthens families, improves early intervention, and helps mitigate the long-term effects suffered by children with in-utero substance exposure.

Maddie's Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 82-4916091. All donations are deemed tax-deductible absent any limitations on deductibility applicable to a particular taxpayer. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution.

I can’t imagine how many babies need this kind of help, but I am glad there is an organization like Maddie’s Place to help these sweet babies! As a new mom, I would do anything to help my baby boy! Thank you to all these ladies that go above and beyond for these babies 💕

We became aware of MP through a family friend, Sarah Covington, joining your organization. We love how Sarah wants to change the world, and she’s found a great place/team with which to do it!

As an obstetrical nurse I’ve helped care for these babies and their moms. They are truly doing their best and I’m so happy the moms in Spokane have someone to support them.
