Maddie Garcia's Zambia Mission Trip

Hey Friends and Family! 

Welcome to my fundraising page! I have the sweetest opportunity to go to Zambia, Africa this upcoming summer with Trail Missions to spread the gospel to tribes and people who may have never even heard the name of Jesus before! I am so excited to be a small part of the BIG things that God is doing at Trail Missions and see how He is going to move through this trip! 

A little about my heart behind this - I have had a desire for missions (and specifically Africa) for about 10 years now. This desire was first planted in 2011 when my mom came home from a trip to Dwelling Places in Uganda and I got to see pictures and hear all about her incredible experience! For my 9th birthday in 2012, I decided to invite everyone to bring a pair of shoes, toiletries, or clothes to send to Dwelling Places instead of bringing a present for me. It was so cool to tangibly give for the first time even in that small way at 9 years old! (Some pictures of that are listed below!) God has since watered that seed planted years ago and I am so excited to finally GO and see what He has in store for this trip! At "The Send" conference this summer in Kansas City, I was moved when Andy Byrd said "You don't need a sign from God to GO, you need a sign to stay!" 

I am expectant to see the fruit of this YES and am praying for hearts to be radically changed! Please consider supporting me financially in any way possible! This website will send the funds directly to the cost of my trip! And if not financially, pray for my team, the people we will encounter during this time, and for everything that Trail Missions is doing!
