Marnie MacAlpine is running for the District 4 seat on the City Council in Chelsea, MA.

She has lived in the city for ten years, originally as a renter, and for the last six years as a homeowner.

Marnie has been volunteering in Chelsea for the last two years on the Chelsea Licensing Commission and is currently serving as the Chairperson. She is a hospitality professional with over twenty years of experience in management.

She believes that the most important area to focus on in the city is communication. The City of Chelsea has numerous wonderful organizations and groups working on a variety of much needed causes. The key is to bring everyone together and spread the word about programming and services available.

Communication is key.
