🐘 Lucky’s Story

Lucky is in her forties—and has spent her entire life in chains.

Used in tourist camps, she was forced to carry heavy riding benches for years.

When tourism collapsed, her suffering worsened.

She was brutally used for forced breeding—her legs shackled, unable to escape.
When the bull attacked, Lucky was left with a shattered pelvis and broken hind leg.

She should have been allowed to rest.

Instead, she was sent to logging.

For the past eight years, this injured, disabled elephant has been forced to drag heavy timber through the mountains.
