Last Tree Laws can accept donations to place legislation on the Massachusetts state ballot for a vote. 

Our overarching goal is to create systems to better address problems of environmental and public health, but we also consider measures to halt dangerous toxins. 

Our Massachusetts ballot measure is not yet decided. We'd like to put more than one ballot measure before Massachusetts voters, but even for one single ballot measure, we need greater financial support to cover costs including building publicity and membership. 

Successful ballot measure committees have required millions. We may not ask for millions, but do need funds to cover communication needs, publicity, organizing, etc.

Donations are welcome through this online service or by mail as described below.

To donate to Last Tree Laws by mail:

• Include note that includes (as required by the state accounting requirements):

  3. Phone number (not for state reporting, but used in case of payment issues)
  4. Occupation
  5. Employer
     

Political donations are not tax-deductible. Donations and accompanying data listed above, minus phone number, are public record and are submitted to the Massachusetts Secretary of State, along with all expenditures as required by state law. 

Because co-chair Kirstin Beatty has a website, Beatty.fyi, that accepts donations to support her other work, a check addressed to Kirstin would be construed as to her personal finances, instead of Last Tree Laws. Please be careful how you address any checks.
