Goal

For many years, Love on the Move has served Navajo communities and churches on the Reservation at Christmas-time by bringing gifts to Navajo children - some whom we KNOW have had no other gifts during this season. Our children have grown up with this yearly tradition. It's an exciting time for us! Jesus Christ is the reason we celebrate Christmas and we want to share God's love to the Navajo children!  We give gifts that bring joy to them as they learn of God's love. Children are able to open and play with their presents right away. There are now other programs in place to meet the functional needs to feed and clothe provided through government agencies and charitable organizations. Our goal is to present the gift of the gospel of Jesus Christ along with a present that brings joy and delight! This year, we were asked to provide approximately 1000 gifts since our ministry has expanded to further areas on the Navajo Reservation. This would have been our largest goal to date. However, with the pandemic arriving, we will have to postpone this goal until a later date. Currently, we are asking for help to reach the same amount of children that we did last year - 200 children. Each brand new beautiful present is approximately $20 per child. So, our need is for $4000 (the same amount we raised last year) to reach those same 200 children.

We are asking for donations to help provide for the cost of giving presents to these 200 Navajo children for Christmas. We sincerely appreciate your generosity during this special time of giving!
